We’re looking for a dynamic and customer‑focused Showroom Manager to lead our team and create an exceptional experience for every guest.
Position Summary
The Showroom Manager oversees all daily showroom operations, drives sales of playground equipment, ensures smooth execution of birthday parties and play, and leads a team of floor staff and front‑desk associates. This role blends customer service, retail management, operations oversight, and community engagement in a fun, fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise showroom staff.
- Maintain a positive, productive, and kid‑friendly environment.
- Manage timeclock accuracy, PTO approvals, and bi‑weekly payroll tasks.
Customer Experience
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service in person, by phone, and via email.
- Resolve customer issues with professionalism and care.
Birthday Party & Play Operations
- Schedule and staff birthday parties and special events.
- Ensure party hosts are fully prepared and events run smoothly.
- Check in waivers and accept payment for play and parties.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment for families.
Sales & Showroom Management
- Drive sales of playground equipment and in‑showroom products.
- Implement merchandising standards and maintain showroom appearance.
- Process payments and monitor sales activity.
Inventory & Safety
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, paper products, and essential materials.
- Conduct regular stock checks and manage purchasing as needed.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed throughout the showroom.
Marketing, Community Outreach & Reporting
- Assist with in‑store promotions, local marketing initiatives, and events.
- Build relationships with schools, nonprofits, and community groups.
- Provide regular updates on sales, staffing, and showroom performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail management, hospitality, or a similar leadership role preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team with confidence and positivity.
- Organized, proactive, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with documentation and HR proceedings.
- Comfortable working in a lively atmosphere with children and families.
- Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and retail/CRM software.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability on weekends and holidays as needed.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
