Dynamic Digital Dental Lab (3DL) is a full-service digital dental laboratory in Wixom, Michigan, serving dental practices across all 50 states. We run a 100% digital workflow — every case is CAD-designed and precision-milled, with no analog wax-ups.
About the role
We are hiring a full-time In-Lab Digital Designer to join our design team on site in Wixom. This is an in-lab position only. This role is not remote and does not offer remote design work.
What you will do
- Design crowns, bridges, implant restorations, and esthetic cases in 3Shape and/or exocad
- Take cases from intraoral scan through final design, ready for milling
- Communicate directly with dentists about your designs, case requirements, and any adjustments
- Work alongside our milling, printing, and QC teams to keep cases moving on schedule
- Help maintain the design quality behind our 98%+ first-try seat rate
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience with 3Shape and/or exocad design software (required)
- Demonstrated experience designing crowns, bridges, implant cases, and esthetic anterior work
- Comfortable communicating directly with a dentist about your designs
- Works well on a team and communicates clearly
- Positive attitude and pride in your work
- CDT credential is a plus, not a requirement
