Overview
Circle of Friends In-home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a desire to provide personal care, and possess the ability to observe and respond to the needs of clients effectively. This role requires a nurturing attitude and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those receiving care.
Duties
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support clients with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Provide direct support for individuals with impairments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards.
- Provide personal care assistance, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexible availability: days, evenings, and weekends is a must.
- Must be 19 years old or older.
- Caregivers must have experience using Hoyer lifts and be willing to provide care for clients who require Hoyer lift transfers. Applicants who are not comfortable working with Hoyer lifts are not eligible for these assignments.
