Autism Learning Institute is a growing ABA company dedicated to providing high-quality services to children and families. We are in-network with most major insurance carriers and are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented AR Specialist to join our collaborative and fast-paced team.
Position Summary
The AR Specialist will be responsible for insurance accounts receivable, claims submission, collections, appeals, denial management, and insurance follow-up. The ideal candidate has experience with medical billing, insurance reimbursement, and ABA billing processes and can effectively manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Manage accounts receivable aging and collection efforts along with preparing and submitting appeals and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding eligibility, benefits, claim status, and payment resolution while reviewing EOB’s and ETA’s for payment accuracy.
- Utilize insurance portals such as Availity and clearinghouses such as Office Ally.
- Communicate with families regarding copays, coinsurance, deductibles, benefit coverage, and outstanding balances.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Medical Billing, Insurance Collections, or Revenue Cycle Management.
- Experience with claims submission, collections, appeals, denial management, and insurance follow-up.
- ABA billing, and Central Reach experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
