HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
The Department of Revenue seeks an energetic and motivated individual to join our Distribution Center team. This is a more technical position which offers a variety of tasks related to inventory management and shipment. Team members will enjoy a challenging non-repetitive work environment with a variety of opportunities to learn and grow.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
This is a non-supervisory position, and this description may not include all the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this title.
- Handle complex transactions for processing and shipping motor vehicle inventory items to the contract license offices and customers
- Responsible for inventory accountability and management
- Complex resolution and assistance to license office inquiries by phone and email
- Prepare inventory reconciliation reports for management
- Prepare and balance credit due monthly reports
- Learn all aspects of the unit to provide overall assistance as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand on concrete floors for extended periods of time and to bend, stoop and twist
