Duties
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and observing for changes in condition or behavior
- Support medication administration and help maintain accurate care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote healthy eating habits
- Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques to prevent injury
- Engage clients in social activities and community outings to foster social skills and independence
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or in assisted living environments is highly preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training such as HIPAA compliance or hospice care is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to observe patient conditions carefully and document findings accurately
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, patient monitoring, and assisting with mobility tasks
- Knowledge of care techniques including medication administration, vital signs measurement, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- Experience working in group homes, nursing homes, home health services, or long-term care settings is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
