Duties
- Assist in food preparation, including slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients with precision using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
- Follow recipes meticulously to ensure consistent meal quality and adherence to menu plans
- Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as grills, mixers, fryers, and food processors
- Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety standards
- Plating dishes attractively and serving food in a timely manner
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks, communicate orders clearly, and ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with catering events or special meal preparations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a full service restaurant is highly desirable
- Familiarity with recipe adherence and plating techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
