CPS Commercial Property Services Inc. (CPS), the affiliated construction and maintenance company of Hutkin Development Company, is looking for an experienced candidate to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of Construction Build Out Technician in the Company’s Construction Division.
This role is responsible for executing tasks related to the construction and build-out activities within a project. It involves working closely with the President of Construction, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of construction build-out tasks according to specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

1. Read Blueprints
- Interpret and follow architectural drawings and blueprints to determine layout and framing requirements for interior build-outs.
2. Interior Framing
- Construct interior walls, partitions, and other framing elements using metal framing materials.
3. Measurements and Layout:
- Take accurate measurements and layout locations for interior framing according to blueprints and project plans.
4. Installation
- Install framing components, including studs, track systems, headers, drywall, and blocking, ensuring proper alignment and support.
5. Other Skills
- Basic painting, ceiling grid installation, minor electrical, and demo skills.
: This role may require the ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks associated with construction activities.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications in construction-related
fields are advantageous.
- Proven experience in construction build-out activities.
- Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and techniques.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Applicant will be required to pass a MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review conducted by our insurance company prior to being hired.
