Automotive Testing and Development Services, Inc. (ATDS) is seeking highly attentive, safety-focused Test Drivers to support automotive testing and data collection programs in the Aurora, CO area. This position is well suited for individuals who demonstrate disciplined driving habits, can follow detailed procedures, and maintain consistent focus throughout extended driving shifts.
As a Test Driver, you will operate test vehicles on prescribed routes across varying road types, terrain, and weather conditions while supporting vehicle evaluation and data acquisition activities. Drivers are expected to maintain professional driving behavior and strictly adhere to all testing and safety requirements.

Position Details:
- Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Sunday
- Shifts Available: 1st (6:00 AM–3:00 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:30 PM–11:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate test vehicles in strict accordance with defined test procedures and safety guidelines
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and document findings as required
- Maintain continuous focus and situational awareness while driving assigned routes
- Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
- Support data acquisition activities, including proper tagging of objects, obstacles, and anomalies
- Follow all instructions provided by the Program Manager
- Complete daily reports and required documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain all test data and documentation with the highest level of confidentiality
- Comply with all company, client, and safety requirements at all times
Required Qualifications:
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Minimum 5 years of continuous driving experience
- Excellent driving history
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Demonstrated ability to remain focused, alert, and distraction-free during extended driving periods
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized testing procedures
- Must pass a Pre-employment Drug Screening, Criminal Background Check, and Driving Record Check
- Basic computer skills for data entry, documentation, and communication
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive test-driving or professional driving experience
- Experience with ADAS or advanced vehicle systems
- Background in fleet, delivery, testing, or regulated driving environments
