Interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications, including geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T), tool lists, and CNC programs.

Read and interpret both metric and imperial (English) engineering drawings.

Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) with turning, milling, and grinding heads, as well as CNC and manual milling machines.

Select and install appropriate fixtures, tooling, and workholding devices; perform tool offset adjustments as needed.

Load and unload tools, fixtures, and parts on CNC VTLs and milling machines safely.

Determine and set correct speeds and feeds for manual and MDI operations.

Inspect and verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

Operate lifting devices and overhead cranes to move parts and fixtures safely.

Edit and interpret Siemens and Fanuc G-code programs as required.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.

Adhere to all quality policies, work instructions, and print specifications.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Work overtime as required to meet production needs.

Minimum of 7 years of experience setting up, editing, and operating CNC Boring Mills, CNC Vertical Mills, and CNC Lathes.

Ability to maintain tolerances of ±0.01 mm (±0.0004 in).

Strong working knowledge of the metric system.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Formal vocational training or completion of a machining apprenticeship preferred.
