American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CCU position at an academic medical center, requiring strong cardiac ICU experience including Swan-Ganz catheters, vasoactive drips, and advanced heart failure care.

Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) in an academic medical center setting
-
Patient population includes advanced heart failure, STEMIs, TAVRs, and other complex cardiac cases
-
Proficiency with Swan-Ganz catheters, vasoactive drips, and arterial lines required

Epic EMR experience required
-
Night shift: 7pm–7am (3x12-hour shifts)
-
13-week contract with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
Every other holiday required
-
Floating required per facility float policy
-
Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Cardiac ICU (CCU/ICU) experience required

Experience with Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines, vasoactive drips, and advanced cardiac procedures

Epic EMR experience required

Two professional references required for consideration

Must provide copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card for consideration

Provide critical care nursing to complex cardiac patients including post-procedure care for STEMIs and TAVRs

Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; time off around Labor Day cannot be approved

Candidates must wait 12 months after a previous assignment at this facility before returning as a traveler
