Kumabe HR is partnering with a local healthcare provider to find capable Administrative Specialists to support provider credentialing, enrollment, and administrative operations.
Job Description
This role is responsible for coordinating credentialing applications, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing excellent support to providers and internal stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, problem-solving, and helping ensure providers meet credentialing and compliance requirements efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Process provider credentialing, recredentialing, and enrollment applications.
- Maintain accurate provider files, databases, and documentation.
- Monitor application status and follow up with providers, health plans, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with credentialing standards, policies, and deadlines.
- Prepare reports, track project progress, and assist with audits.
- Respond to provider inquiries and provide administrative support as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
- 1+ year of administrative, credentialing, healthcare, or customer service experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
