Be the First Step in Getting the Right Equipment to the Right Place
At PDQ Equipment, great service starts before the equipment ever leaves the yard.
We’re looking for a Dispatch Support team member who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be one of the first points of contact when customers and our Sales team need equipment delivered, picked up, exchanged, or changed - making sure we understand exactly what they need and that the request is accurate before it moves to the next step.

What You’ll Do:
- Receive and process equipment delivery, pickup, exchange, and other rental-related requests.
- Talk with customers and internal teams to gather the details needed to process each request accurately.
- Enter customer, equipment, jobsite, delivery, and pickup information into company systems.
- Review requests for accuracy and completeness before sending them to our Dispatch Fulfillment team.
- Follow up on missing or unclear information so orders don’t get held up.
- Assist customers with rental pickups, off-rents, extensions, exchanges, and order changes.
- Keep customers and internal teams informed when information or additional follow-up is needed.
- Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch Fulfillment, Operations, Rental Counter, and other departments to keep requests moving.
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation of customer requests and changes.
- Manage multiple incoming requests and changing priorities while delivering professional, responsive customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t have to be a logistics expert to succeed in this role. Customer service, communication, organization, and attention to detail are what matter most.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Strong customer service and communication skills — especially over the phone.
- A friendly, professional, and helpful approach when working with customers.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to ask the right questions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
- The ability to stay organized while handling multiple requests at once.
- Confidence working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to work closely with multiple departments.
- Equipment rental, construction, order-entry, call center, or similar experience is a plus, but not required.
