Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and machinery on customer sites.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure safety standards.

Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to perform repairs accurately.

Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers and management.

Operate tools and diagnostic equipment efficiently and safely.

Travel extensively to various job sites as required.

Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced technicians when needed.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.

At least 3 years of experience in heavy equipment or field service mechanic role.

Proficient in diesel engine repair, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding.

Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record essential; DOT certification preferred.

Willingness and ability to travel extensively.

Strong communication and customer service skills, with experience working directly with customers in field service settings.
