Duties
- Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and via telemarketing to promote products and services.
- Provide detailed information about insurance options such as health, property casualty, commercial insurance, and benefits administration.
- Conduct outside sales efforts by visiting clients or prospects to expand our customer base.
- Negotiate terms and close sales by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Assist with sales administration tasks including processing transactions, maintaining records, and updating customer databases.
- Analyze customer data and feedback to identify opportunities for upselling or improving service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of insurance products including health insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance is a plus.
- Strong analysis skills for assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems to track interactions and manage follow-ups.
- Ability to understand complex insurance regulations and ensure compliance during all sales activities.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters trust and loyalty.
