Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Worker, where you'll be the backbone of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you'll operate various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks—to efficiently load, unload, and organize goods within our warehouse. Your expertise will ensure safe and accurate inventory management, supporting seamless warehouse distribution and order fulfillment. Duties
- Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items and stacking pallets with proper safety protocols
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology to track inventory movements accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order picker equipment and manual techniques
- Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation of all machinery
- Assist in inventory management by conducting cycle counts, stock replenishment, and organizing warehouse storage areas
- Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo’s, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory data
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols
- Excellent manual handling skills combined with attention to detail in order picking and load securing
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or warehouse supervisor roles is advantageous
