A family-owned trucking company is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Columbus, OH to maintain and repair tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, and inspections.
- Complete minor repairs on trucks and trailers across engines, brakes, electrical components, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct regular diagnostic tests and routine service on trucks and trailers.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Work on equipment including Freightliner, Kenworth, Ottawa, and Autocar trucks, as well as Wabash, Great Dane, and Utility trailers.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience performing minor repairs on trucks and trailers.
- Knowledge of engine diagnostic software.
- Ability to conduct regular maintenance and service trucks.
- Must have own basic hand tools.
- Ability to maintain accurate repair records.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Compensation:
- $24.00 - $35.00/hour based on skills and experience
- 136 hours of PTO in the first year

Shifts: Multiple Shift Options Available:
- Sunday to Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- Thursday to Sunday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
