Body In Mind Massage Institute is a New Jersey approved private career school dedicated to preparing future massage therapists through high-quality education, hands-on clinical training, and professional mentorship. We are seeking an organized, motivated, and experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our leadership team as a Program Coordinator.

Position Overview
The Program Coordinator plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations and academic success of the massage therapy program. This position combines classroom instruction, curriculum oversight, compliance management, and administrative coordination.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about massage therapy education and professional standards.
Responsibilities
Academic & Curriculum Oversight
- Assist in the development and maintenance of massage therapy curriculum
- Ensure curriculum and program delivery remain compliant with NJDOL, NJDOE, and NJ Board of Massage requirements
- Support program updates and improvements to maintain educational quality and regulatory compliance
- Assist with class scheduling and instructor coordination
Instruction
- Teach massage therapy coursework approximately 2 days per week
- (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM schedule)
- Facilitate engaging classroom instruction and hands-on learning experiences
- Support student success through mentorship, guidance, and professional developmentStudent Records & Compliance
- Create and maintain accurate student transcripts and academic records
- Monitor attendance, grades, and student documentation
- Assist in maintaining compliance with the school’s Certificate of Approval and regulatory requirements
- Support school audits, reporting, and documentation processes
Program Support
- Collaborate with administration and faculty to support daily school operations
- Assist with student communication and program coordination
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, professional, and student-focused learning environment
Qualifications
Required
- Active New Jersey Massage and Bodywork Therapy License
- Minimum of 5 years of professional massage therapy experience
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping systems
Preferred
- Prior teaching or educational experience
- Experience with curriculum development or academic administration
- Familiarity with NJ private career school regulations and compliance standards
- Leadership or supervisory experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $45,000 – $55,000 annually
