Berglund Used Car Super Center is looking for a Service Technician. We are part of Berglund Automotive, a well-established and reputable automotive group with 10 locations, representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia.
Job Summary:
As a technician you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while maintaining a positive relationship with customers and service advisors in the shop.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies

Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers may be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:

STATE INSPECTION LICENSE REQUIRED

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician desired

Manufacturer certified or willing to obtain required certifications

Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

Are a fast learner

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Are computer literate

Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
