American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Work in a hospital Emergency Department
-
Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage required for any holiday falling on a regularly scheduled shift

Uses Cerner EMR
-
Active FL or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)

TNCC certification preferred, renewed every 4 years
-
NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
-
Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training preferred, 8-hour course renewed every 2 years

Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Provide emergency nursing care across a variety of patient acute care needs

Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
