Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Carhops to join our team in delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Carhop, you will be responsible for providing food and beverage service directly to customers in their vehicles, ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages to customers in their vehicles promptly and accurately.
- Take customer orders using Micros POS systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and handling.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
