JOB SUMMARY
Framers start with the bare concrete foundation and build the wooden framework of the house. They closely follow blueprints to accurately measure, cut, and assemble the structure(s). From start to finish, they see the biggest transformation - from an empty lot to the completed wooden skeleton of someone's future home.
You should possess great hand dexterity and an eye for detail, being able to work with little supervision and follow all health and safety standards. We also expect you to have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to use basic and intermediate hand tools and power tools/machinery
- Accurately measure distances and/or materials such as boards, timbers, plywood, etc.,; make sure material is plumb/level
- Install rough door and window framers, subflooring, and temporary supports as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and various layouts.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires physicality (physical stamina); Safely lift/carry 50lbs or more frequently; Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time; bend, crouch, twist, kneel, reach, etc.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team; reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are a must.
- Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions.
- Valid drivers license strongly preferred - MUST have reliable transportation to and from job site(s).
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills (English)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
SHIFT DETAILS
- Monday - Thursday: 7am - 4pm
- Friday: 7am - 12pm
- No nights / no weekends
