Part-Time Landscape Designer
We are looking for Marin and SF landscape designers to join our Design Team! This is a great opportunity for students, stay at home parents, or anyone who loves plants, has design experience, and would like to make some extra money. Applicants must have prior design experience, plant and product knowledge, good communication, and ability to manage invoicing and follow thru with clients. Applicants will also need to work in a Sloat store on an negotiable part-time basis. Design hours paid at $100/hr per billable hour, store hours paid based on experience. Requirements:
Prior design experience
Plant and garden product knowledge
Good communication and ability to manage invoicing and follow through with clients
Work in a Sloat Garden Center retail store 1 day/week
Design hours paid at $100/hr per billable hour, generous employee discount, quarterly commission, and flexible hours. Store hourly wage is dependent on experience.
Store Requirements:
Weekend availability. Morning availability
Ability to lift 35 pounds repetitively

Duties:
Customer Service and product sales
Stocking/merchandising/pricing/displaying product
Unloading trucks
Plant maintenance
Cashiering and phone service
Maintaining site cleanliness
Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
