Workers' Compensation Associate (Hybrid – Virginia)
A multidisciplinary law firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate to join its growing team. The firm is committed to understanding clients' needs and delivering high-quality legal services and practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters.
- Meet required billable hour expectations.
- Manage client relationships and an assigned caseload with appropriate supervision.
- Assist with motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trials as needed.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active license in good standing to practice law in Virginia (VA). Multi-state licensure is a plus.
- Prior experience handling Workers' Compensation matters preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, legal case management software, Excel, and electronic document management systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Compensation: Salary range of $1000,000–$150,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
