Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Receiving Manager to lead inbound operations at a high-volume distribution center handling approximately 20,000 SKUs and 3 million cases annually. This is a hands-on leadership role for a self-starter and high-energy performer who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Only local candidates will be considered. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of receiving and inbound operations in a high-volume DC
- Lead daily dock operations including scheduling, unloading, verification, and put-away
- Supervise, train, and develop supervisors, leads, and hourly associates
- Drive labor productivity, accuracy, and on-time performance
- Ensure accurate receipt and system integrity across 20,000 SKUs
- Monitor and improve KPIs including dock-to-stock time, receiving accuracy, damage, and labor utilization
- Partner with Inventory Control, Transportation, and Warehouse Operations to ensure smooth product flow
- Maintain a strong floor presence and lead by example
- Enforce safety standards, company policies, and regulatory compliance
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of receiving or inbound management experience in a high-volume distribution center
- Proven experience managing large SKU counts and complex inbound operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability and results
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using WMS systems and operational reporting
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, weekends, and peak periods
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
