Graveyard Schedule:
- Salary: $20 - $26/hr.
- Schedule: Friday to Tuesday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Cargo & Operations Management
- Manage inbound and outbound cargo flow efficiently to maintain smooth operations and uphold customer satisfaction.
Collaboration & Productivity
- Foster collaboration across shifts
- to enhance productivity, optimize cooler capacity, and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure all tasks align with Commodity Forwarders' quality standards, reducing claims and preventing damage.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely reports and records.
- Ensure adherence to government regulations for freight forwarding at both origin and destination.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while minimizing compliance violations with TSA, USDA, FDA, and other agencies.
Warehouse Maintenance & Safety
- Execute departmental tasks
- with precision and efficiency to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness standards while ensuring compliance with food safety and OSHA regulations as directed by warehouse management.
- Meet air freight and trucking cut-off times to uphold timely deliveries.
- Implement proactive strategies to minimize claims and prevent cargo damage.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass TSA background check.
- 2 years of warehouse experience.
- 1-2 years of forklift experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
- Capable of completing freight forwarding forms and documents.
- Fast-paced work environment; must be able to multi-task and handle high-pressure situations. As a 24/7 operation, weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
Cold Storage Environment:
- Freezers at 0–15 degrees.
- Coolers at 28–39 degrees.
- Loading docks at 40–55 degrees.
