Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms with accuracy and compassion
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring precise documentation of patient encounters, medical records, and procedural notes
- Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and handling medical administrative support duties
- Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and follow-up care to promote understanding and compliance
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with infection control protocols
- Administering Vaccines, Experience a plus
- Collecting Lead and Hemoglobin and Rapid testing (Strep, Flu, Covid and RSV) and testing urine Specimens
Experience
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for accurate recordkeeping and data management
- Prior work supporting Pediatric populations or within hospital medicine settings enhances your candidacy
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse patient needs efficiently and professionally
- Strong reliability a must
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
