NK Cabinets, Inc. is a leading Southern California manufacturer of custom commercial cabinetry specializing in healthcare, dental, veterinary, hospital, retail, and specialty projects. We are seeking a motivated Purchasing Agent who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with our team.
Position Summary
The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production and project schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field degrees REQUIRED.
- New Graduates, willing to train.
- Purchasing or procurement experience preferred.
- Experience in the cabinet, millwork, woodworking, or construction industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cabinet materials, hardware, laminates, wood products, and related supplies is a plus.
- Experience with Innergy ERP software is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Purchase materials and supplies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain pricing, negotiate costs, and evaluate vendor performance.
- Issue purchase orders and track deliveries.
- Coordinate with project managers, production, and estimating teams.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with material planning.
- Ensure materials arrive on schedule to meet production deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
