Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Pre-K Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate early childhood education principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to schedules while maintaining high standards of behavior management.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs, and support ongoing development through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
- Utilize assessment tools and standardized testing to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Lead lesson planning sessions that integrate childcare best practices, childhood development theories, and innovative educational approaches such as Montessori or other curriculum frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting with a strong background in early childhood education.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management strategies, and lesson planning.
- Knowledge of childhood development stages, special education practices, early intervention techniques, and literacy education methods.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in preschool environments.
- Prior experience in toddler care, preschool teaching, or private school settings is highly desirable.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields; TRS knowledge a plus .
