Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Billing Supervisor to lead our billing operations within the healthcare revenue cycle. Duties
- Supervise and mentor the billing team to ensure timely and accurate submission of insurance claims, including third-party payers and government programs
- Oversee hospital revenue cycle management activities, from patient registration to final account resolution
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and other health insurance regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless billing workflows and data integrity
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and rejections promptly to maximize reimbursement
- Coordinate with clinical departments to verify patient information and service coding accuracy
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency, reduce errors, and accelerate cash flow
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospital revenue cycle management with a strong understanding of health insurance policies and billing procedures
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively
- In-depth knowledge of Medicaid regulations, Medicare guidelines, and third-party insurance billing practices
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and billing software platforms
