Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a commitment to educating students on safe driving practices. This role involves instructing both new and experienced drivers in various driving techniques, road safety, and traffic regulations. The Driving Instructor will play a crucial role in helping students develop the skills necessary to become confident and responsible NJ lisenced drivers.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on driving instruction in our company vehicles, ensuring students understand vehicle controls and safe driving practices.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to strengthen driving skills.
- Maintain a positive learning environment through effective management techniques.
- Communicate clearly with students and parents to ensure understanding of complex driving concepts.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs of students.
- Stay updated on state regulations and best practices in driver education.
Skills
- Proficient in driving with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with students of varying ages, including adults.
- Maintain a clean and engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information.
- Knowledge of adult education principles to facilitate effective learning experiences.
- Ability to educate students on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to driving.
