Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the intake process to ensure accurate documentation
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness for patient procedures
- Assist chiropractors during examinations and therapies by handing tools or supporting patient positioning
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including documenting patient interactions and treatment details
- Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions and answer basic questions about procedures or appointments
- Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and processing insurance or billing information
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support principles
- Experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings, especially with chiropractic or physical therapy patients
- Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding for accurate documentation and billing processes
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and assist with medication administration when necessary
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and hospital experience preferred for handling urgent situations effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers
