CMC, an Associa company, is hiring a Community Association Manager (CAM) to oversee a portfolio of 8-10 communities in thePrince George, Charles, and Howard counties. The portfolio will be a mix of single family HOA and condominium association communities.
As a Community Association Manager (CAM), you will work closely with our clients and vendors, and partner with other Associa departments. To be successful in this role you will need great customer service, communication, and project management skills.
Daily responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of assigned community associations, HOA and Condo.
- Act as or oversee the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners as needed.
- Travel to client associations to attend board meetings, perform inspections, conduct walk-throughs, and attend community events as needed and per the management agreement.
- Prepare annual disclosure packages, annual meeting notifications, and annual financial statement packages for all homeowners and arrange bulk mailing of same within the time frames set by state statute or governing documents.
- Review monthly financial reports and ensuring management summary is submitted to the association Board of Directors.
- Provide and/or oversee recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.
- Other duties as requested.
Annual salary: $70-$75K.
- 2+ years of association management experience.
- Understanding of the relationship among the community homeowners, members of the Board of Directors, and the Management company.
- Willingness to obtain the CMCA, during first year of employment, company paid.
- High level of customer service, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
