Overview
We are seeking a dependable Housekeeper for one of our senior living clients. If you are looking for a part time job with a flexible schedule, this may be the perfect role for you! We are looking for someone that can work 2 to 3 days a week during the day shift.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of 16 resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways to uphold health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, floors, windows, and appliances using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Follow established janitorial procedures to ensure all areas meet regulatory and community standards for hygiene and safety
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management to maintain a secure environment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities
- Support special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or required by the community
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work or custodial roles with a strong attention to detail.
- Prior housekeeping experience required; experience in a healthcare, assisted living, or similar facility strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read and communicate in English.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to Allen, TX required.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work comfortably and respectfully around elderly residents.
Hours & Flexibility:
- 15–30 hours per week.
- Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
- Flexible scheduling available — example schedules include Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Thursday. Days must be non-consecutive. Shifts available Monday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
