We are seeking a vigilant, professional, and customer-focused
Security Officer to join our team in Long Beach, CA. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting Jet Room premises, assets, employees, and patrons. You will maintain order, monitor access points, oversee surveillance systems, and ensure strict compliance with company policies as well as local and state cannabis regulations.

Premises Protection: Patrol grounds, monitor access points, and perform regular perimeter checks to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Surveillance & Monitoring: Actively observe security cameras and equipment to detect suspicious, illegal, or unauthorized behavior.

Access Control & Loss Prevention: Verify guest credentials upon entry, inform policy violators of rules, restrain trespassers when necessary, and prevent loss or property damage.

Incident Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of daily occurrences, surveillance findings, and security observations.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential safety hazards or security risks and collaborate with management to implement proactive solutions.

Protocol & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all corporate security protocols, as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Adaptability: Perform additional security-related tasks and duties as assigned by the Director or Manager of Security.

Age & Identification: Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid government-issued photo ID.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Certifications: Valid California Security Guard Card, Security Badge, or Private Security Certification.

Experience (Preferred):

Prior experience in security (armed/unarmed, patrol, event security, or executive protection).

Basic computer proficiency for reporting and log maintenance.
