Position Title:
Maintenance Technician
Reports To:
Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor
Basic Function:
Responsible for building maintenance and minor repairs at RRCU offices and branches.
Responsibilities:

Performs general maintenance and repairs for equipment and facilities including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting and other building systems.

Responsible for the upkeep of branch facilities and Credit Union properties.

Conducts regular inspections of branches and properties to report any safety concerns, repairs needed, or any issue that does not represent RRCU in a positive way.

Ensure parking lots are clean and maintained.
- Identifies and reports issues, needed repairs, and maintenance tasks.

Work with verity of hand tools as well as painting equipment and cutting tools.

Visits assigned RRCU offices to access and report any lights that are out or that may need repair.

Help other Maintenance Technicians with their assigned branches.

Assist with the following: setup of tables, tents, chairs, and other equipment for special events, meetings, or training sessions.

Delivers marketing supplies, equipment, and various other items as needed.

Prepares for facility renovations; moves furniture, dispose of debris and construction trash, keeps work sites tidy and safe during construction, and follows up to ensure site is cleaned and back in order afterward.
- Safely drive RRCU vehicles or your own vehicle in connection with RRCU activities.

Performs standard maintenance of RRCU vehicles, checks fluid levels for proper operating levels; tracks vehicles inspections and license renewals; checks tires, and ensures vehicles are washed and cleaned as needed.

Keeps Maintenance Department storage areas orderly.

Work occasional evenings and weekends and some overnight travel as assigned.

Adheres to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
General maintenance experience.
-
High school diploma or the equivalent.
-
Proficiently operate a motor vehicle and hand tools.

Good communication skills, ability to handle stress of daily deadlines
-
Work independently with little direct supervision.
-
Ability to meet, speak, and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
-
Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.

While the following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented, identified physical requirements include the ability to operate basic office equipment, drive a motor vehicle, Climb ladders, stairs, squat and lift to 50 lb.

Valid driver’s license and maintain a good driver’s record.
