EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports the daily operations of the office by handling essential clerical and customer service tasks. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:

Application Processing: Enter client information, clear records, and route applications to caseworkers

Reception Support: Greet visitors and respond to needs at the front desk

Phone Handling: Answer incoming calls and manage voicemail messages from the main line

Mail and Imaging: Sort mail, process drop box items, and scan documentation into the system

EBT and Records: Process benefit card requests and complete file clearance tasks

Equipment Operation: Use various types of office equipment including computers, copy machines, and scanners

Work Schedule and Additional Information:-
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.

Travel and overtime as needed.

Work Conditions: Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment. In counties with District Offices, employees may be reassigned to different work sites due to operational needs. Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language.

Telework: This position may be eligible to telework part time. Specific details of the telework schedule will be discussed during the interview process. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bradford, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,108 (before taxes).
