Urban Shed Concepts is looking for an experienced, dependable Carpenter to support the construction, installation, and finishing of customizable sheds and wood structures.
This is a hands-on role focused primarily on framing, roofing, painting, and on-site builds. The Carpenter will perform a variety of skilled construction tasks while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
The right person will take pride in quality workmanship, pay close attention to measurements and details, and be comfortable working both in a shop environment and at customer locations throughout Arizona.

You’ll interact with supervisors, co-workers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers as needed to help ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.

Key ResponsibilitiesFraming, Roofing & Construction
- Construct, frame, roof, and paint customizable sheds and wood structures
- Perform framing, roofing, finishing, and site-build work
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, and other construction materials
- Verify measurements, layouts, and dimensions for accuracy
- Assist with installation and finishing operations as needed
- Ensure installations are accurate, aligned, and finished to a professional standard
Tools & Equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Use appropriate tools and equipment for assigned construction tasks
- Maintain quality standards throughout all phases of construction
- Support project schedules through timely completion of assigned work
Site Builds & Troubleshooting
- Perform construction and installation work at customer locations
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site installation issues
- Identify construction or installation problems and communicate concerns when needed
- Maintain a professional and organized work environment at customer sites
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or potential hazards
- Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications Preferred Experience
- Minimum of three years of related construction or carpentry experience preferred
- Experience with framing, painting, and roofing, particularly involving sheds or wood structures
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, construction materials, and equipment
- Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and basic construction plans
- Ability to measure accurately and use a tape measure
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Work Environment
Work will take place in a commercial wood shop and at customer homes throughout Arizona.

Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 20 hours per week
- Work Environment: Commercial wood shop and customer site builds
- Location: Arizona
