Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one nursing care in home care
- Provide direct care to infants, children, and adolescents per physician orders
- Perform assessments and document clinical notes accurately
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies
- Educate and support patients and families on care and prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality outcomes
- Respond promptly to changes in condition and emergencies
- Provide ventilator, trach, oxygen, feeding tube, catheter, and ostomy care
- Accompany and support pediatric patients in school for one-on-one nursing care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience (acute/critical care required; home care/school nurse experience preferred)
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide compassionate, family-focused care
