Pay: Based on experience and capabilities
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM | Full-time
About the Position
Hub Manufacturing is looking for an experienced CNC fabrication person to join our team. Our current teammate who handles much of our sheet laser, tube laser, and related fabrication work will be retiring in the coming months. We are looking for someone who can step into these areas, learn our equipment and processes, and grow into the lead person for our laser and forming operations.
This is not a job where you will stand at one machine running the same part every day. We are a metal fabrication job shop, so the work is varied. The core of the position is CNC sheet laser, press brake, and tube laser work. Experience with all three would be great, but it is not required. If you are strong on sheet laser and press brake, understand fabrication, and have the mechanical ability and desire to learn the tube laser, we would like to talk with you.
What You'll Be Doing
· Set up, program, and operate CNC sheet laser equipment.
· Set up and operate CNC press brakes.
· Set up, program, and operate CNC tube laser equipment.
· Take jobs from blueprint through finished part.
· Create and modify basic 2-D CAD drawings.
· Program and nest parts for efficient material utilization.
· Select and verify proper materials, thicknesses, and tooling.
· Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using standard measuring equipment.
· Troubleshoot programs, setups, tooling, machine issues, and part-quality problems.
· Work with our team to determine the best and most efficient way to manufacture new parts.
· Help coordinate workflow through the laser and forming areas.
· Train and assist other teammates as the department grows.
· Grow into greater responsibility for the day-to-day operation and leadership of these areas.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands fabrication—not simply someone who knows how to push the start button. You should be comfortable reading prints, setting up equipment, measuring your own work, and figuring things out when something does not go as planned.
· Strong CNC sheet laser and press brake experience preferred.
· Machine setup experience is important; programming and nesting experience is a strong plus.
· Tube laser experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.
· CAD or drafting experience is a plus.
· Strong blueprint-reading and dimensional-inspection skills.
· Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
· Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of the work.
· Interested in growing into a lead role and helping train others.
Why Hub Manufacturing?
We are a smaller manufacturing company, which means you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of parts and projects and have input into how jobs are manufactured. You will not be just another operator assigned to one machine. This position offers the opportunity to learn multiple processes, solve problems, and become an important part of the future growth of our fabrication department.
Schedule & Benefits
· 4-day production workweek: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Pay will be based on experience and capabilities. We are willing to pay toward the top of the range for someone who brings strong CNC lasers, press brakes, programming, CAD/drafting, troubleshooting, and leadership experience.
