We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Laborer - Installer to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves performing a variety of installation, finishing, and restoration tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with construction processes, including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and fixture installation, while demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Duties
- Assist with the installation of drywall, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, and trim carpentry to ensure precise and durable finishes.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks.
- Perform demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to support smooth project workflows.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support electrical work, plumbing, roofing, plastering, caulking, and painting activities as needed.
- Assist with remodeling projects by preparing surfaces, installing fixtures, and restoring areas to specified standards.
- Contribute to hardscape installations such as paving or landscaping features.
- Follow detailed instructions using construction management software like Bluebeam for project documentation.
- Collaborate with team members on framing, door hanging, tile laying, and other carpentry tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality expectations throughout each phase of the project.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or general labor roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management practices and estimating processes is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with building finishing techniques including drywall installation, trim carpentry, and plastering.
- Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing systems, roofing procedures, and fixture installation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various installation tasks.
- Experience working on diverse construction sites with a focus on safety and quality control.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in different weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
