Rainier Rail is seeking hardworking, safety-focused Railroad Track Laborers to join our team. In this essential role, you’ll help maintain and improve the rail infrastructure that keeps goods moving safely across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair, and maintain railroad tracks, switches, and ballast.
Install and remove rail components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
Perform track surfacing, alignment, and drainage work.
Clear vegetation and debris from right-of-way areas.
Load and unload materials from trucks and rail cars.
Work as part of a crew in all weather conditions.
Follow strict safety protocols and FRA regulations at all times.
Requirements:
A valid drivers license with a good driving record. (Required)
Previous construction, maintenance, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, working on uneven surfaces)
Willingness to work flexible hours. Typically 4 10s Monday - Thursday.
Reliable transportation.
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $31.20 per hour
