The Y is looking for Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers to work in our Child Development Centers.
CHILDCARE OPENINGS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS:
- North High School
- South High School
ASSISTANT TEACHER:
- The person filling this role may be eligible for our Early Learning Apprenticeship Program.
- You’ll gain hands-on experience in our licensed childcare centers while we support you in earning your CDA (Child Development Associate) or Child Care Certificate.
- Compensation increases as you reach milestones throughout your apprenticeship.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
LEAD TEACHER:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Minimum Highschool Diploma / GED
- Relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 months’ experience in early childhood education providing direct care and supervision to children of the same age and 3 semester hours of academic study or equivalent training in early childhood education
Pay: $10.00 - $19.00 per hour
