We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing accurate auto estimates and recommendations
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs
- Upsell additional services and maintenance packages to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Manage service writing processes efficiently, including documenting customer requests and vehicle diagnostics
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely
- Maintain detailed records of service orders, repair histories, and customer interactions
- Perform dispatching for all ROs properly
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and repairs
- Hands-on mechanic experience or understanding of automotive repair procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience in auto estimating, sales, and automotive service writing preferred
- Knowledge of various vehicle systems including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repairs, air brakes, alignments, suspensions, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, and diesel engine repairs
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with dealership operations involving automotive sales is a plus
