Master Plumber
Location: Jefferson City, MO
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with rotating on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service
Compensation: $34–$46/hr ($70K–$95K annually), plus spiffs and after-hours differential
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Master Plumber to lead and mentor our plumbing crew while handling a strong mix of residential and commercial work. This role requires someone who can operate independently — pulling permits, passing inspections, and managing jobs from start to finish — while also developing the next generation of technicians on the team.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a crew of plumbers on residential and commercial jobs
- Pull permits and pass inspections independently, without oversight
- Manage a strong mix of residential and commercial plumbing work
- Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues in the field
- Rotate through on-call coverage for after-hours emergency service calls
- Uphold high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and customer service
What You Bring
- 7–10+ years of total plumbing experience
- Active or eligible Master Plumber certificate for Jefferson City, meeting one of the following:
- Age 25+ with 3+ years as a licensed journeyman (per RSMo 341.170), or
- 4,000 hours as a journeyman working under a licensed master plumber (per local ordinance)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a crew
- Strong track record across both residential and commercial plumbing work
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
