Overview
We are seeking a Experienced, skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. Ford/Lincoln certifications are desirable. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that vehicles are operating at their best. The Automotive Technician will work on a variety of vehicles, including those equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and diesel engines.
Responsibilities
- 4-Day work week
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in the shop.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance repair processes and improve overall service quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in automotive repair.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance is required; dealership experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with hybrid engine repair techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documents related to vehicle systems.
- Experience with welding techniques is an advantage but not essential.
