Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a fast paced medical setting. Duties
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems)
- Prepare examination room and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked and sanitized for patient visits
- Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) as directed by healthcare providers
- Support physicians during examinations and procedures in outpatient clinic
- Document medical information accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with ICD coding and medical documentation standards
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-up communications, and maintain organized medical records for efficient clinic operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and medical terminology
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and ICD coding principles
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent certification required
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and medication administration accurately and safely
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations
- Familiarity with electronic health records management, medical documentation standards, and outpatient/inpatient workflow.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
