Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman Tech, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks at buildings, townhomes, and Condominiums in the Chicagoland area. This is a paid position with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- On-site Maintenance - 5 days a week.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry repairs, and snow removal
- Install lighting fixtures, and equipment as needed
- Paint walls, ceilings, other surfaces, and make drywall repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and strength
- Effective communication skills
- Must have Drivers License and good driving record.
- Supplied Vehicle for driving to properties
