Akamai Intelligence is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst / Information Security Manager to lead security planning, testing, and policy development in support of a federal client's information systems. This role requires deep expertise in federal cybersecurity frameworks and hands-on leadership of a security team. The successful candidate will work onsite in Germantown, Maryland, and must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" clearance or equivalent Top Secret clearance.
? Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and data.
? Supervise and provide direction to cybersecurity/IT security staff.
? Develop, monitor, and conduct testing of cybersecurity plans and controls using government-approved tools and methods.
? Document test results, develop and recommend corrective actions, and prepare residual risk and risk assessment statements.
? Maintain thorough working knowledge of NIST Special Publications and apply them to security assessment and authorization (SA&A) activities, including NIST 800-37, 800-53, CNSSI, and other federal requirements.
? Develop and revise organizational security policies (e.g., Privacy Plan, Configuration Management Plan) and maintain baseline security documentation.
? Lead incident response activities, vulnerability management, and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) tracking.
? Support Zero Trust Architecture initiatives, cloud security requirements and assessments, and Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) / Continuous Monitoring programs.
? Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Cybersecurity or Information Assurance, or a related field, from an accredited institution.
? GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP) or ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent.
? Minimum of 5 years of experience planning, coordinating, and implementing information security measures.
? Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a cybersecurity or IT security role.
? Demonstrated knowledge of security assessment and authorization (SA&A) policy and federal cybersecurity requirements.
? Must currently hold, or be able to obtain, a DOE "Q" clearance or Top Secret clearance (or equivalent) prior to start.
? Ability to work onsite full-time in Germantown, Maryland.
