Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, and elevators to uphold the hotel’s standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly for swift resolution
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests
- Adhere to established cleaning protocols and checklists to guarantee consistency across all rooms and areas
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to maintain overall property hygiene
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within commercial or hospitality settings
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and report issues effectively
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to commercial cleaning
